Irrigation in Garten and Landscape Design This book shows you how you can plan, install and maintain irrigation systems in garden, landscape and sportsground design, including a consideration of the costs incurred. In addition to the irrigation of private gardens and park, there are detailed descriptions of irrigation systems for sportsgrounds, golf courses, urban street trees, planting for buildings such as roofs, terraces and interiors, and the irrigation for "mobile green", as well as popular urban gardening. For the first time, the irrigation of planted areas is discussed holistically and independent of specific companies - from the determination of requirements to planning, installation and maintenance.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stephan Roth-Kleyer ist seit 2004 Professor für das Lehr-gebiet "Vegetationstechnik" an der Hochschule Geisenheim University. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind u. a. "Vegetationstechnik/Automa-tische Bewässerung" und "Bodenferne Begrünungen".
